Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. Her career began with minor roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). In the FX series Dirt in the third season, she played reporter Willa McPherson. She also had an supporting role in the show with a short run, The Ex List. She was the lead character of Moira O'Hara in the first season of FX's American Horror Story, and played Kaylee in the season's third. She played Jessie Anderson's character in AMC's The Walking Dead. Sophie was the character she played in The NBC show This Is Us. She voices various characters on Family Guy, an animated comedy. She is currently the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe who is a character from Netflix's show Virgin River. Breckenridge was raised in Darien in Connecticut. She relocated to California with her mother at the age of 10. The family moved around for one year before eventually settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge became interested in photography, acting, and singing at age 13. When she was 15, she relocated with her mother to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career.
